Subud and Latihan

This link to Subud USA offers a good basic explanation about latihan.

For a longer explanation about Subud and latihan, I found this transcription of a talk given in 2000 by a longstanding Subud member who was very close with the founder of Subud to be very interesting and informative.

I personally found it interesting in the talk referenced above, that contrary to what I was told in 1984 just before I joined Subud, one does not need to believe in God to join Subud and receive latihan. Latihan arises (or is awakened) within anyone who wants to receive it, regardless of their beliefs.
