The Universal Symbol of Humanity

The following true account summarizes an experience that I wrote about in my memoir Nine Ghosts.

I first discovered the existence of the Universal Symbol of Humanity in a highly emotional psychic experience that occurred the night of January 14, 2004.

The following morning, I was inexplicably driven to draw several representations of the symbol I had experienced in the night until I arrived at one that put my heart at ease.

Later that morning, during a channeling session, my guardian angel Michael congratulated me, saying that I had discovered a valuable gift — the Universal Symbol of Humanity. He went on to say that the design I had settled on was different from the original design, but I wasn’t to concern myself with that.

Admittedly, his words left me wondering: What was the original design? And how was it valuable?

Eight years later, on the exact same day, January 14 2012, I received an answer to the first question after several incredible “coincidences” occurred (including the date). The original design Michael had alluded to was a shape known as a pentacle — a pentagram bound by a circle.

Since Michael had told me eight years earlier not to concern myself with the original design, and I had eventually been led to find it anyway, I felt inspired to find a new design for the current age; a design that would honor the original Universal Symbol, but would also incorporate the design that had initially put my heart at ease as well as a rare eclipse event known as the Venus Transit that I had just learned was directly related to the original design.

This cosmic event (that just so happened to have occurred in both 2004 and 2012 — another “coincidence”), symbolized the return of the divine feminine into balance with the divine masculine — something I innately knew had to happen for our current civilization to realign with Divinity, and veer away from calamity.

Four years later, in 2016, after struggling to find the right design and then finally letting go of my need to find it, a design idea came across my path that validated an idea I had first contemplated in 2012. The next day, I commissioned a local jeweler to make a pendant based on that new design. One week later, the pendant was ready.

Ever since the day I picked up my new pendant, I have been wearing it 24/7, and have come to suspect that it might be acting as an amulet; meaning, it appears to be warding off psychic attacks during my sleep (or what others might refer to as nightmares). I say that only because I regularly endured those kinds of attacks prior to wearing my pendant. However, those attacks stopped immediately after. Also, as I wrote in my memoir, on three separate nights, I took off my pendant to clean it, and forgot to put it back on before bed. On each of those nights, I woke up as a result of an attack in my dreams, and was surprised to discover I wasn’t wearing my pendant. Coincidence? Maybe. But I’ll let you be the judge!

That said, if you purchase a pendant, and experience positive changes in your waking or sleeping life, please let me know as I would love to know (and with your permission, I would love to share those experiences with others).

Symbolism and Meaning in the Pendant

The Universal Symbol of Humanity not only embodies and projects meaning when viewed as a whole, but also embodies and projects additional meaning when broken down into its component parts, or when it’s component parts are grouped together with other like elements. Here is my understanding at the time of this writing in May 2024:

The Five Spokes

The number five represents human perfection, and the search for meaning and purpose. It also represents freedom, curiosity, and adaptability to change.

The spokes represent the human form and our five extremities — the head, the two arms terminating at the hands, and two legs terminating at the feet.

The Five Small Outer Circles

The five outer circles, in addition to the above noted symbolism relating to the number five, represent the planet Venus and its orbit around the sun.

The Center Circle

The center circle represents the Sun, the Divine, and the heart of humanity. It’s also symbolic of the energy that animates all life as well as the spiritual connection that we all have with each other, the cosmos, and the Divine.

All Six Small Circles

Together, as a whole, the six small circles represent the perfect union of the material and the spiritual. The number six also represents Venus and is additionally symbolic of the energy of love, harmony, self-worth, beauty, pleasure, and joy.

The Outer Ring

The outer ring, or circle, symbolizes infinity, wholeness, completion, and the Divine.

Seven Circles (six small plus the outer ring)

The number seven symbolizes spiritual truth, hidden knowledge, and is also associated with the act of looking within for answers.

The Meaning of the Gemstones

Peridot (the center gemstone) is a symbol of compassion, abundance, balance, and emotional healing. The color green is symbolic of the heart chakra, representing love and transformation.

Amethyst (the perimeter gemstones) is a symbol of royalty, deep love, humility and sincerity. It is also said to relieve stress, dispel anger, balance mood swings, and enhance psychic abilities. The color purple is symbolic of the crown chakra, representing wisdom and enlightenment.

The pendant is available in three variations, each sold with or without silver-plated or 14K gold-plated mm box chain (20″ x 1.25 mm):
